Table 5.1 -- Table of contents
This International Standard uses EDCS classifications to specify the type of environmental objects. Within the EDCS Classification Dictionary, each EC has a unique definition and is denoted by both a unique ECL and a unique ECC.
The EDCS Classification Dictionary is presented in 26 tables according to the letters of the alphabet. Each table consists of ECs with the same first character of their ECLs. Within each table, the ECs are ordered alphabetically by the ECL.
The ECs specified in this International Standard are presented in Tables 5.5 through 5.30 and in Annex C in Tables C.2 through C.27. The specification of each field of an EDCS Classification Dictionary entry is presented in Table 5.3. The first four fields are found in Tables 5.5 through 5.30. The label field and the last three fields are found together in Annex C in Tables C.2 through C.27. The ECLs in Tables 5.5 through 5.30 are hyper-linked to the corresponding entries in Tables C.2 through C.27.
